1965 Ford Econoline Pickup
1965 Econoline Pickup. 3.0 liter 24 valve DOHC Duratec powered. Four wheel steering.
You're looking at a 1965 Ford Econoline Pickup. It started out as an Air Force vehicle with a 170 straight six / 3 speed manual trans. with a column shift. It is an older restoration that has been updated mechanically. The entire drive-train, steering, suspension, and brakes from a 1996 Taurus is installed in the bed of the truck. This includes a 3.0 liter 24 valve DOHC Duratec engine and an AX4N transmission. Other improvements include 4 wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, custom steel wheels, custom instrument cluster, upgraded side body trim, and a custom tailgate. And did I forget to mention the four wheel steering? It's electrically run via controls in the cab. All mechanical upgrades have been done in the current owners home garage as an hobbyist build.
