1967 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
1967 Cadillac DeVille Convertible - 429 V-8, Turbo Hydramatic, fully optioned, sleeps six.
Our 1967 DeVille is named after the original owner, a lady from Paducah, Kentucky. We acquired this car after an on-and-off 20-year search, to replace the 1968 DeVille Convertible we used at our wedding. Alberta DeVille has her original 429 cubic inch V-8, and has driven us from our home in Wisconsin to Cadillac-LaSalle Club meets in Washington, D.C. and San Marcos, Texas. Features include auto-dimming and twilight sentinel (auto-on/off) headlights, power windows and vents, power trunk release, power front seat, AM/FM radio with power antenna, cruise control, climate control, power door locks, and tilt/telescope steering wheel. A friend from Kentucky found the proper 1967 McCracken County front license plate for me. Thanks to Joe Spitz, my good buddy and retired MATC auto shop teacher, for much mechanical guidance, help, and sympathy.

About the Owner: Brian Tyndall
Cadillacs have been a fascination of mine since Dad bought a used 1964 Sedan DeVille when I was in junior high - too young to drive, but not too young to enjoy all the gadgets. My first Cadillac was an $800 purchase that eventually gave in to rust, but not until it drove my new bride and me from the church to the reception. We have put a lot of happy and wind-blown miles in our photo albums since then. Check out the Cadillac-LaSalle Club website to see what other fans and fanatics are up to.
